Our Orange Pecan Salad is the perfect side dish to serve with your Christmas dinner!

Orange Pecan Salad

2 heads romaine lettuce (or green leaf lettuce)

1 c pecan halves, toasted in oven

2 oranges, peeled and sectioned

Dressing:

¼ c vinegar

½ c sugar

1 c vegetable oil

1 tsp salt

½ small red onion, chopped

1 tsp dry mustard

2 Tbsp water

 

Blend all dressing ingredients in blender. Refrigerate dressing. Combine lettuce, pecans and oranges and drizzle dressing on top just prior to serving (or add extra like I like to do!) and ENJOY!
